Foreach featured in Antwerpen Manager magazine

Arne Vandamme, Managing Partner at Foreach, took part in a debate on the opportunities and challenges the Belgian IT sector is faced with. A report of this debate was published in the most recent edition of Antwerpen Manager magazine. The fact that we were invited to participate demonstrates that Foreach has become a relevant player 5 years after its foundation.

A key challenge that was discussed during the debate is the recruitment and retention of talented profiles. Foreach is currently undergoing rapid growth and will increase its headcount by 30% over the next 6 months. Attracting mid-career profiles in IT has never ceased to be a challenging task, in spite of the ongoing economic crisis. We offer our employees a team-based approach of challenging and complex web development and Business Intelligence projects. Foreach is characterized by a flat hierarchical organization, high employee involvement and an informal atmosphere. With these key assets, our company manages to remain attractive for talented software development profiles.

A key opportunity that was identified in the article is the emergence of a new way of working, based on social media and mobile devices like tablets and smartphones. Since a year, Foreach is almost exclusively focused on developing tailor-made software that helps its customers to adapt to this new way of working. Foreach has considerable expertise in developing complex web applications that integrate different media. Our business model is based on project development, where we are responsible from the start (business and functional analysis) to the end (delivery, maintenance and support). Some of the key projects we have delivered over the past months are the iCoach (www.exsmokers.eu), the RestoDays campaign (www.restodays.be) and the new Netto/Mon Argent sites (www.netto.be and www.monargent.be).
